huge Graham Parker fan. not one of his best, but he has more than one good song.  Squeezing out the Sparks was Rolling Stones top 10 for the 1970s.  Typing this makes me want to check the wiki. May have been top 10 for its year.
Village Voice critics poll had it #1 in 1979.  Rolling Stone was not as hot for it, but ranked it #334 all time in its top 500 in 2012.

Now that's a great arm.  A Robles arm.

We finally have an apples-to-apples comparison with Robles.  Robles will now be exposed.

strike 2 was ball 4.  Strike 3 was legit.

A keeper for what? He's old and is consuming a roster space.  Also, he's playing over his head.

Bunk. Alcides plays a fine SS and he hits. There is no "playing over his head" when he's hit decently week after week. No, he's not Trea Turner, but neither is he any of the minor league slobs like Arteaga or Flores. No, Escobar is not taking a roster spot from them.

If Escobar is starting next season, we have some real dummies running the club

Keep starting Thomas. Let Robles start in Rochester.

but he's a nice back up who you can sign for 1 year, $1MM and feel comfortable let him start 50 games or so if your primary SS gets hurt and Antuna isn't  ready.

Roster management.
