Carpenter just criticized Sendley (for pre-determining when to send runners).

Didn’t we trade for like 4 catchers? Why are we starting Rivera?

Only Adams is with a team. The LA and Oakland guys are supposed to be present by tonight. Maybe Ruiz tomorrow and then Barrera and Ruiz until next season.

The parallels between Patrick Corbin and Jason Heyward are amazing. Each signs a big contract, helps his team win the WL, then turns into a pumpkin.

At least Heyward has foot speed and is a gold glove outfielder.  Corbin is barely an innings eater.  You can get Tanner Roark if you need that.

Fedde can beat teams like this. Nats are set for 4th and 5th starter.

Am I the only person becoming progressively more comfortable with Yadiel Hernandez as a respectable #4 or #5 OF?

Not a great fielder, but he has matched Robles in RBIs and beats Robles in OPS by almost 150 points.

Gray, I hope. Otherwise, it's Ross and Fedde. (Is Ross under contract next season?)

(Baseball Ref says Ross is Arb eligible for 2022, earliest FA 2023. Right. Sat out last season. Only making $1.5 million)

:spit:  back to the John Lannan days
I remember there was a perception that John Lannan got a bum deal with the organization.  I never understood that.

Oh yeah. SF and hammonds (and probably a few others here) actually believed Lannan was an ace

Edwin Jackson took his place as a starter. Sad that Lannan had been the best the Nats had for all those miserable dead-last seasons.

We actually had John Patterson and Odalis Perez as opening day starters at some point. :smh:

Fedde is a 5th starter at best.

The Barves DFA'd Inciarte.  Aren't Robles and Inciarte the same player?

No. Inciarte was a decent hitter for a few years.
