Giants looks like a team of destiny.  Some journeymen pitchers and batters having good years.
I thought the Dodgers were a team of destiny.  Then I thought the Padres were a team of destiny.  Now I agree that the Giants are a team of destiny.  See a pattern?

No Baby Shark magic this year.
There really wasn't any baby shark magic in 2019.  That was all hype.  He's a nice guy, though, and used to be a good player.

You just don't recover from a game like that.  It's too bad, because Max was having an awesome season.

Not really.  Everyone predicted the Dodgers and Padres to dominate the West and the NL in general.  The Giants were expected to be one of the worst teams. 
Nats 0-4 last week against the Dodgers.
2-2 versus the Padres.
So maybe they can go 2-1 this weekend?
