I keep thinking of Mikey Mo playing shortstop for the Mariners.

they had Mikey Mo and Adam Jones at SS, but they went with Yuniesky Betancourt.  Later I think they had Brad Miller and maybe Chris Taylor.

What are "the Mariners"? Is that the name of a baseball team? I saw or listened to the old Nats play the STL Browns, and I had baseball cards of the Philadelphia Athletics, including Lee Wheat ("Won none and lost two!" I giggled). But I've never seen a baseball team called the Mariners.
