As well as Sheary has performed for us...trying to understand him signing a 2 years deal with $1.5MM AAV.  Also, signing him now instead of allowing him to become a FA and signing him later likely exposes him in the expansion draft. 

Maybe this is GMBM making someone so attractive that the Kraken pass on our other potential offerings?  Of course, if he made it to FA, he may have signed elsewhere anyway.  Either way, I see this as a big win for Mac...
