Oshie sure is involved on the score sheet...in the first 10+ minutes, he has: an assist, a penalty, in the box when Buffalo scored their goal, and a Power Play goal of his own...

The Gr8 has 2 assists in the same time...

There ought to be a list of the top 10 players in the NHL who most folks think are dirty but also acknowledge are among the best players in the league.  The classic rats.

Pretty big trade:

Pierre-Luc Dubois and a 3rd Round draft pick go from the Winnipeg Jets to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Patrik Laine & Jack Roslovic.

Dubois was in Tortz' doghouse, and Laine has long wanted out of Winnepeg.  Each team ridding themselves of headaches...

Major NHL minutia: 

If the Panthers Keith Yandle plays in every game both this year and next...he will have played in exactly 1,000 consecutive regular season NHL games at the end of the 2021-2022 season at the age of 35...

This dates back to the 2007-2008 season...

What's peculiar about this is, due to a mid-season trade between the Blue Shirts and the Panthers in the 2014-2015 season, he played 84 games that season rather than the regular slate of 82 games.
