I was wrong when I said we get 4 runs.     We only got three.    We pick up the extra run this half inning.

Back when I pitched, I had a coach in travel ball who would come out to the mound and say essentially this.  The last game I ever played for him, I was out there and had absolutely nothing.  Couldn't get the fastball over, breaking stuff wasn't breaking and couldn't control that either.  He waddled out and said pretty much that.  I finally asked him what he thought I was trying to do out there and if he had anything helpful to tell me.

Like I said, it was the last game I ever played for him.
