If he can pinch hit, then it's really no different than MAT being on the bench...
Would rather have Stevenson who can pinch run. They have said Robles could hit but I don’t believe he actually has? Maybe they are just trying to go with the hot hand (glove).

80 percent Robles or 100 percent Stevenson?

with a hamstring injury I would say 100% of Stevenson

I agree with some other posters...Stevenson should have been in and Adams out...
Watch Adams blast a pinch hit HR.

He swings hard. Maybe eventually he will connect.

Sure it is.  Having MAT on the bench meant that when Robles got hurt, they had a capable defender to come into CF.  If Taylor got hurt now and Robles isn't ready to go, then it's Parra in CF in a playoff series.  That...well, that ain't great.

OMG, that means we probably get shutout tonight and MAT is the only one with a hit :hang:

While true...it seems to me that's a bit of a stretch...now watch it happen!

No way to find out, as Molina's playing.

Also, can't believe I'm the first person on this thread to extend a verbal middle finger to Matt Wieters.  Not that I have much against him personally, but a guy who stinks when he's here and otherwise spends his career with the Orioles and Cardinals is not in my good graces.

While true...it seems to me that's a bit of a stretch...now watch it happen!

Yeah, and it also basically means that you can't pinch hit for Taylor, even though he's not a good hitter.  It really cuts down on flexibility.

I'm with you there.  That Grand Slam made the season for me. But:   GO NATS

Team is simply enjoyable to watch. My favorite team they’ve ever put on the field.
