Look, I like Davey, I really do.  (See what I did there - using his favorite "I really do" phrase?).  But who in the world intentionally puts the winning run to the plate in that situation?  At best, just pitch around the guy and maybe "unintentionally" walk him, but why spot them the winning run?  Without that, the worst they could do was tie it up.  Clearly it rattled Hudson who immediately melted down before thankfully composing himself.

Wow, my heart can't take this!

Brilliant decision to walk Muncy. He would have crushed the tying home run.

Yup, Muncy is batting.500 in the playoffs, best on their team. Smith .143, Seager .125.

They have walked him with the bases loaded.

It wasn't stupid , it was a calculated risk. It paid off. It was a "their stud home run guy isn't beating us" move.

At least pitch around him and see if he'll get himself out. Just walking him like that was ridiculous. .250 hitter. He’s not prime Bonds.

Yes, Bonds is NOT a good example.  He was in a class by himself, aided by PEDs

So the guy who was struggling to throw strikes had no chance to accidentally groove one to Muncy?

Walking muncy was absolutely the right move because it worked.

Bo arguing Strasburg is the best pitcher in the NL.

We saw what he was made of in Game 4, 2017 .

An argument can be made to use Max like Andrew Miller was used in 2016.
