just like you were kidding about the forum turning on Scherzer

Like I said, I was, until people started talking like it was time for him to retire.

He’s going to throw 100 pitches. This is insanity.

At 75, he's still available for an inning maybe even 2 on Tuesday. And you may not need him on Tuesday. Who expected him to crap the mound that inning? 75 pitches would've been the ceiling so I would not let him come out again. Plus, the way he got clobbered, I may not want him pitching Tuesday.
Hes making 23 million. If he cant pitch an inning in the playoffs two days after pitching 5, he never should have been signed in the first place.

So you let him give up six runs and throw 90+ pitches. Brilliant.

And somehow, I’m the idiot.

C&D were saying this would have been a milestone win for Corbin but I didn't hear what.

Given all the bullpen use today, if they win, can the Nats just forfeit tomorrow?  ;)

Nothing is more infuriating than a reliever that doesn’t throw strikes.
