Make my arm hurt just looking at this.

I think my ribs would hurt a lot after that also.

Cabrera is also slick with the glove. So why was he such a dick in his previous run with the team? Complained about PT, position, batting order, etc.

Red card in extra time of the first half against NYRB. Will play 10 a side in the second half.

1–0 NYRB at HT

Had not been a Met yet.  One cannot recognise good until they have seen evil.

I was going to go but am tending to a cat who has not long for this world.  She prefers besbol anyways.

To be fair, I don't think Williams named himself "the big Marine".

Kent Tekulve is NOT weird!

Tekulve was a stud. About 6'6", skinny as a pole, and threw nasty sidearm and the whole time spewing tobacco. And always had those tinted shades.

Killing time on flight and looking up unbreakable baseball records. On September 4, 2002, Joaquin Benoit recorded a 7 inning save.

Look up Wil Cordero's 2005 BA.

The most unbreakable baseball record is Johnny Vandermeer's back to back no-hitters. No one will ever throw three in a row.

Another unbreakable record. In 1999, Fernando Tatís Sr. hit two grand slams in one inning.  To break it, someone would have to hit 3 in one inning.

DiMaggio’s hitting streak and Ripken’s consecutive games played too.

Barely enough time to lose otherwise.  Better do it now.

Someone could conceivably break it though. To record a 7 inning save someone would have to come in in the third inning, finish the game and NOT be the winning pitcher
