I remember you saying you were an EMT. Which makes perfect sense. They think they are smart because someone has taught them a few fancy words. But once they talk to anyone who actually knows what they are talking about, they don’t have the knowledge of a 2nd month medical student.

That’s you. And you make up for it by coming to a baseball message board to try to make fans feel stupid.

It would be funny if it weren’t so sad...

So sure, Slate, you’re so right. You’re so smart and so cool.
Gotta go with the personal attacks huh? Not even waving a Cubs flag . . .

I'm at the point where I'd rather he start every day and see if we can make him tradeable again.

I think his ship has sailed with the Nats. Now that he’s getting Arb money he’s got to produce and he hasn’t shown he can.

I would’ve went to Joe Ross after the Nats tied it.

I don't even wanna know what you wanna do with Ross when you go to him.

Baker was (and is) literally unhirable because of how he handled pitching.

Well, yes, that was repeated on WNFF for two years, with fingers pointed at some Cubs pitcher who was said to have broken down 20 or 25 years ago. Otherwise, evidence is skimpy. Contrary evidence: Dusty managed pitchers well enough to win 1863 games, a .532 winning percentage over 22 seasons. Dave has won 101 games and lost 111, for a winning percentage of .476.

Dave destroyed the bullpen last year. He wrecked Ryan Madsen, then had a relief-pitchers revolt that Rizzo stopped by trading Madsen, Kinstler, and Kelley. He got less than nothing out of Roark and Gio, who, at least seem better than Hellickson and Sanchez. He has managed this year's bullpen to the worst performances since the 1958 Washington Senators. (They were one of the worst teams I ever followed.)

Of course. How else are the Nats going to blow it in the 8th?

He's still relatively cheap. I wanna see if with a new manager, and everyday at bats, he can regain his 2017 form

Nobody hired Dusty for three years after his success with the Reds. In fact, he wouldnt have gotten a job here in 2016 if the Lerners hadnt cheaped out on Black. Its two years later and he doesnt have a job. That isnt a coincidence

At least that 3rd inning comeback was exciting.
