Max at 98 pitches. Tough innings. Dave will send him out for the 6th. If he manages, then Death Valley -- 7th and 8th -- before Doolittle.

Death Valley, that is so sadly awesomely appropriate.

If the opportunity provides itself, give Doolittle the 8th and 9th.   He hasn’t pitched in awhile.

Zimmerman doin' the Furr commercials reminds me of Pie Traynor's commercials for American Plumbing and Heating when I was a youngster.

Why, did Pie Traynor have a jelly arm?

Nah but he was a third baseman at one time.

What's with "championship innings". Never heard that phrase in my life before last night and now again tonight.

What's our Mangler thinking taking Ross out after one batter, after warming him up for two innings? And for one of our real beauties, too.

Should’ve left Ross in. He looked pissed coming out.

Ross pitches to one batter? He is throwing well. Therefore, dave replaces him with Matt Grace?? Ross has always been a starter, and was good at going twice through a lineup. He can't pitch two innings? Are the traditional rules of RHP / RHB so persuasive that dave has to switch and switch??
