Has anyone been able been able to use a Mac using either Chrome or Safari (or another browser) to exchange tickets through the Nats system which requires Flash?

I’ve used a Mac. I think your best bet might be Firefox. I remember not having luck with Safari. Chrome worked intermittently.

Thanks. Installed Firefox, but still no dice ... seems to get closer but then get parsing error (1502) due to script running longer than 15 seconds.

How can someone have system that doesn't work with Mac OS and Google Chrome?! I have borrowed a windows laptop on which I got this to work, but that  isn't a long-term solution.

The real question is why are they using flash

Wait, seriously? It's a brand new redesign isn't it? They need to fire some people.

No luck using Chrome. IE works just fine. Don't use Safari.

Apparently this also applies to selling Stub Hub....will try IE but Safari hasn't worked. Sent a question to their "Tech Support" not expecting an answer.

One of my partners could not get the partner invite to work on her Mac, which I assume uses Safari?

You can install other browsers, but Safari doesn’t support flash because it’s just a combination of security risk and resource blackhole that should be obsolete

Windows 10 Edge Browser not working
« Reply #11 on: March 21, 2019, 12:51:44 pm »
I'm a partner, been one since day 1 season 1.  Really looking forward to this season!  However:

I can successfully log into https://rewards.nationals.com/ using the Edge Browser on my windows 10 machine, but it appears that most of the calls the HTML is making to fill in the text boxes for Points Balance and eCash Balance fail to work for some reason.  In addition, on the page  https://rewards.nationals.com/account under the profile section, none of my information is listed, again, the calls for that information fails to populate those fields.

I spoke to my rep (these poor guys are going crazy with this type of issue), who suggested the site is not working correctly using either IE or Edge and suggested using Chrome instead.  He said he thinks it has something to do with Flash.  I tried enabling Flash (which is embedded in Edge for backward compatibility with sites that still use this unsafe and insecure piece of software) both universally and specifically for the site - that didn't work, so I don't think it was the issue.  It is working in Chrome, but that's on a separate computer and I am not allowed to load software on my machine for security reasons.

I see there is another post that there may be issues with Safari as well, so I thought I'd post here and see if there are any solutions someone came up with.  Please no flaming MS as this is what is availabe to me at the current time.

on the first page running the debugger (by viewing source) shows:
Could not locate https://rewards.nationals.com/assets/stylesheets/fortress/portal/club/nationals/sass/fortress/portal/club/nationals/_settings.scss specified in source map data:application/json;base64,ewoJInZlcnNpb24iOiAzLAoJImZpbGUiOiAic2Fzcy9mb3J0cmVzcy9wb....

on the second page:
Could not locate
https://rewards.nationals.com/assets/stylesheets/fortress/portal/club/nationals/sass/foundation/_functions.scss specified in source map data:application/json;base64,ewoJInZlcnNpb24iOiAzLAo...

Without getting too far down this road, there seems to be quite a few syntactical errors in how the code was written.  I know there are a variety of ways coders write, and how each browser renders that code, but it would seem that the code should be tested with the four or 5 most used browsers out there. I did send an email to their tech support, but have not received any answer.

Hopefully, there are some coders out there who can share some insight, and let me know if there are any workarounds.

You might try talking to your security people.  Where I work security is very strict, and Chrome is approved for use.

I suggest mods combine all these threads in the Natsplus thread.

Still no resolution using Windows 10 Edge.  I respectfully disagree that the two issues should be combined in one.  Since the issue with Safari seems to have resolved itself, I would hope we could have a separate thread for Windows Edge issues.  I specifically did not want to piggy back on someone else's thread.

Has anyone successfully used Edge to access the website?

Thanks!

Do they not have a support/help site or platform?

It does not appear that there is a support/help site or platform.  No webmaster is listed on the site, the only recourse on the site is the "contact us" email functionality.  I didn't even get an auto reply saying it was received, so not sure how those are handled.  The domain is registered to mlb, so they likely allow the nationals to use it, and the whois record shows the administrator email is dnsadmin@mlb.com, so that individual is just concerned with the back end of the site.  I spoke to my rep and he said they know it's an issue, but he had no suggestions for a resolution.

I'm wide open to suggestions on how to escalate the issue so it can be resolved.  Not so interested in work arounds like use a different browser, since it appears that it's a code or permissions issue (there are a number of 404 errors in attempting to grab the data, which means the data can't be found).

My rep  resolved my issues today.  Seems the problem was I was using different passwords on my Access account and my MLB account, so the sites could not talk to each other.  We also changed my user name, because I used another email address as my contact email address rather than the one I used for my account with MLB and the Nats.  Finally, the site worked much better with Chrome than with IE.  The rep said it should work well with Edge, but not many folks are using that.  Firefox also should work.

I still have two new partners who can’t be added. One is not even receiving the invites. Yes, he has checked his spam folder.

Supposedly some “developers” are looking into it but it has been several days without no answer in sight.

I feel like if they paid a decent wage to some coders on a contract basis, they could have this fixed in like two days.

I have two pending, one has received the invitation, logged in and entered the codes but cannot advance further.  Haven't heard from the other guy yet.

I've resent #1's invitation several times, once making his name identical to his MLB registration. Also recommended he use Chrome, but haven't worked through that yet.
