Think he was on the Cards also?
Just don't put it on the resume'.
DeRosa is a superstar on the MLB channel. His name comes up (seriously) for manager job consideration. In other words, he's WELL beyond being a low paid post-game host on a shaky local cable network.
agreed. He seems quick witted and thoughtful enough to play very well off FP. I'd love to see a rotating booth where Charley and Dave do PBP on both radio and TV and FP, DeRosa, and maybe another color guy rotate as well. Put Carp in the post-game if you feel loyal.

FP was a guest of Effectively Wild podcast. He was actually great and engaging. This is a great podcast overall too. FP segment starts st 31:19 I think this is where FP is at his best. http://media.blubrry.com/effectively_wild/p/cdn.fangraphs.com/audio/EffectivelyWildEpisode1294.mp3
As hard as FP is to listen to most nights - I cannot imagine anyone having something new and different to say 162 nights in a row on the same topic.
That was pretty entertaining...thanks...Maybe some other outlet will hear that and hire him away from MASN...
Can't listen to the pod right now, did he say anything of note about Ray being let go?
It was basically all about sign stealing and related topics. One interesting thing he said was that there was a pitcher that he covered for the Nats for years that is no longer with the team (he wouldn’t say who) who basically came undone whenever there was a runner on second who he thought was stealing signs.
Gio?
He's on twitter a fair amount these last few days.
Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste isn't March to October enough?
My guess is that we're going to hear an unfettered Ray this season via Twitter and maybe other outlets.
