"A person familiar with the network’s inner workings said the network is holding Knight off broadcasts due to an in-house issue."

He is the only reason to watch the postgame show.  I will bet he probably tried to whip somebody's ass at MASN.

I could see him "gettin' loud".

There's a couple of dem Oreos I'd like to see crammed  ....  in fact, that whole side of that house, except for Thorne.

Thorne sounds like Ted Baxter. I liked Ted but don’t care for Gary. Probably because of the o’s connection.

I liked Gary, back to the mid-1980s when he was doing the Mets games with Bob Murphy. I'd gladly trade Bob C, FP, Johnny H, and Phil - plus cash considerations - for Gary.

Too soon....

If I had to guess, he had one too many and took the bullpen cart for a spin...

That was the other incident, taking the cart was no big deal but there was a team secretary named Mary Jo passed out in the passenger seat when the cart swerved into the Anacostia.

No, the Anacostia incident was whitewashed.  Word has it that he rubs elbows with  Christopher Walken, and the two were on Walken's Yacht, along with some movie star named Natalie, who was very drunk and stumbled off the yacht in her nightgown and drowned, while Ray and Walken just sat there and watched.

That was just a reprise of some years earlier, when a young Walken used 10-year-old Ray to blend into the crowd before taking a short walk up a grassy knoll in Dallas.

Ray got fired (or technically, his option wasn’t picked up):

https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/sports/2018/11/04/ray-knight-will-not-return-nationals-masn-broadcasts-next-season/?__twitter_impression=true

I'd feel more comfortable with him as hitting coach or bench coach than in what they have currently.

It sounds as if Ray has a drinking problem.

One nice thing about the revolving door in the manager's office is there are a bunch of ex managers to choose from.
