Not taking sides on this one, but there's always something interesting and fun watching a Scherzer start and a Soto at bat.  The season has plenty of disappointment, but if Scherzer is on the mound, there's always a chance at history, and with Soto at the plate, we are watching somebody on the short list of greatest teenage batters ever. 

Now for my typical Red Sox analogy, but it used to be that Pedro was can't miss TV and a happening at the ballpark with the DR flags, the K cards, and other stuff.  Scherzer starts are close to the same way.

You're right.

We can't do anything about it.

But why is being a miserable fan better? Has it giving anyone here less heartbreak? Is having the attitude of the season is over help anyone?

imo Baseball is great because of it’s ups and downs. If there were no “downs” it would be very difficult distinguishing between what makes you happy and what makes you miserable???

All that being said, this is a “down” time for me so PLEASE don’t try to take my MISERABLE away. 👿
