The Aaron "The Bear" Barrett Comeback Tour

I'm breaking this off. This is where we root for Barrett to comeback

1.97 ERA/1.10 WHIP over 14 games/13.2 innings in Auburn.  They are running out of time to send him to Potomac this year but I hope they give him at least one appearance so I can go give him a huge round of applause.

Not only that, but he's clearly getting his arm back. In his first four appearances, he pitched 3.1 innings, and walked five batters.

Since then, he's made 10 appearances, pitched 10.1 innings, and walked three batters.

Time to bump him up. I could see him as a later September call up, once we're numerically eliminated. It would be nice to see something positive come out of the end of the season.

I would cry if he takes the mound in Nats Park this season.

I'm not sure it's realistic to think we're going to give him a 40 man slot.

Imagine the crowd at Nats Park going wild as "The Bear Went Over the Mountain" plays over the PA system once again.
