Trea looked pretty flustered that at bat.

Davey is a bench coach. It’s clear he’s overwhelmed as a manager. No reason a team with this much talent should be 41-38.

Who is this "Davey" of which you speak?

Trea Turner has Ryan Zimmerman disease.  He stands too far off the plate and he can't reach anything on the outside.

And if Murphy's legs won't allow him to drive the ball, as FP states, then get him the F off the field.  We don't need a slap hitting gimp.

The way we're going now, a .280 slap hitting gimp would be an upgrade.

the second called strike

rileyn brought up a good point about how far off the plate he stands. I never noticed that before. Could’ve contributed to that inside pitch being called a strike.

Tanner is getting better as the game goes along because he’s sweating out all that French fry grease.

Turner's arm has been the most surprising them about him as a major leaguer. He can make that strong throw from the hole easily. There were doubts about his arm from scouts and I was not impressed with it at first.

Ever since he came back from getting his wrist broken last year by a HBP.

Except 40% of it is on the DL or coming off it

Do you mean .180?

I propose a 30 day avatar bet - I say .280, you say .180.  With .230 being the midpoint, if Murphy hits below .230 the rest of the season, you get to pick my avatar for a month.  He hits above 230, I pick yours.  To sweeten the pot, if he hits exactly .230, you win.

Deal?

( I can't believe I'm doing one of those dumbass Spider bets, what the F am I thinking?)
