I didn't get to count Mondays. They laid me off.
I tried to get my boss to lay me off but he said he didn’t like me enough to allow that to happen. He also said I shouldn’t have a problem with the disappointment since I’m a Nats fan. Go Nationals!
It all worked out for me (time wise). I was 64 1/2 and got a severance. I pushed it past 65 and then hit SS. I started draining my IRAs. Missus thinks we'll never go broke. I try to tell her but she's convinced. So I just go on like everything is great ... go to Nats' games ..... golf .....
Go Nats!
Had a visit from a buddy from Newfoundland this weekend. Did ya see his Air Canada flight go over?
I’m in Centreville, I get to see all the flights.
At least the face can field.
LOL...
I wish retiring at 52 was a thing, I am sooooooo over my job Pittsburgh is decent this year no?
FP poo-poo'd their 17 wins because they played weak teams...
Probably. I love Newfoundland.
I'm north of ya. When you retire, you'll be able to sit on the deck after cuttin' the grass and watch the flights in and out of Dulles. I like late afternoon international arrivals from the north.
He and the missus live near Robert's Bay ... oops Bay Roberts.
On the south side we get the landings. Even tho the Concorde was noisy as hell I miss seeing that one land.
