Home town advantage. Pick the Nats and just build your argument around that choice. I used to work for a lawyer. 😏
I'm really looking forward to this game. I want to see who I actually root for as the game progresses. I follow the Nats a lot closer now than the Red Sox, TBH. In 2012, I remember at my nephew's wedding watching the Nats play at Fenway and pointing out more stuff about the Nats hitters, who is good and the like, and being happy about Espinosa or someone getting a hit early on. But, when the Os were contending in '97 and the Sox were out of it, I remember going to a game and trying to root for the Os, and ended up clapping when Mo Vaughn homered and realizing I could not root against the Sox. Maybe that's because, even then, the Os deep down were unlikable?
