So if Kintzler is put on the DL does that mean they just use Murphy for that spot or bring Gott back?

Forearm strain, Grade 1,  no tear for Kintzler, which is good news for him. DL move incoming.

For those of us who didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night how bad is a grade 1 strain - is 1 the worst or the least strain?

My research assistant, Mr. Google, says a grade 1 strain usually takes 2-3 weeks to heal, so figure he's back after the ASB.  Often though, a forearm strain is initial indicator to a much worse injury, so this is very good news.

Do we have anyone left in the minors to bring up?  Seth Romero?

Thanks for checking that. And thank google for more fake news.  ;) I just got back from my morning Bataan death march and devoted more time to my chicken caesar salad than delving into a half a nanosecond search on strains.  :mg:

I was asking myself the same thing. Some people wanted him around because it was a good story that he was coming back from injury. And the same sympathy is now in  play for Barrett. :smh:
