Selling? What’s there to sell? We’re stuck with this team. The only guy I could see being dealt is Taylor. The guy has gotten a raw deal this year. Davey benching him in the midst if a hitting streak was asinine.

One guy nobody ever mentions in trade talks is Trea Turner. You could get a nice haul for him. I think he’s peaked as a player. He was exposed in the playoffs last year. He’s been solid, but not quite the dynamic leadoff hitter I envisioned.

Maybe you trade Doolittle/Herrera if things keep going south.

Go back to your broom closet & close the door. Trading/Selling players is not going to happen this year. There's a much greater probability of management castrations.

Herrera can be traded. We don't need a 8th innning specialist that becomes a FA this offseason. Madsen too. I would keep Doolittle because we have him next year. Maybe, just maybe, an AL team would take Murphy as a DH/PH down the stretch. Adams could probably fetch something. All of these things need to be in play.

Already overcame one big lead early this year. Season isn't over, but we need to put a couple wins up soon so this isn't too deep a hole.

We're getting close to that point. The '16 Dodgers were down 8 games 77 games in and won the division comfortably, but there aren't a ton of examples like that. They need to figure it out soon. Fortunately, they've got 18 games remaining vs. ATL and PHI. Gotta make hay in those matchups or it's not gonna matter.

The 2017 Cubs were below .500 until the All Star Break. Granted, the Brewers only had a 4-game lead at that point, but the remaining season series between those two teams was very close, with the cubs winning 6 of the remaining games and the Brewers winning 5. It’s do-able, but it’s going to take some guys stepping up and also a little luck. And we need Wieters to get Gio and Tanner under control (or someone else who will).

I feel like the Braves have already come back down to Earth, the problem is the Phillies or the Nats couldn't capitalize it. The Braves lost the series against the Orioles and Reds last week and yet they're still up 3 and a half game in the division.

The 2012 Nationals won the division and had the best record in the NL. Let's hope that's not who the Braves are.

I think the point is, everyone has been expecting that the Braves are going to become much better, just not so soon. Like the Nats in 2012.

No. Houston, Boston, NYY, Seattle is.

Atlanta is leading a underperforming division. Same as Nats did last year.
