Nationals - Top 5th
Taylor struck out swinging.
Scherzer struck out looking.
Turner struck out swinging.

Guys too worried about their launch angles and such. If they are pitching you outside go with the pitch for a change.

Feeling like game one.

O.M.G.  what the hell is up with Trea?

It's in his head now. Just like when a kicker misses a gimme and goes to crap after that.

And trotting out Tanner after losing Game 3 will work out well too?
For starters, I don't think Roark being brought in unexpectedly to relieve is going to work out out well.

Also, most starters tend to suck on short rest.  I'd rather have Roark tomorrow than Strasburg anyway.

Gio for game 5 is a downgrade over strasburg.

That chain of events decreases our chances of winning games 3, 4 and 5.

Turner needs an assistant batting coach.

This has been nothing short of a disaster for Trea Turner.

I understand the concept but if the kid needs ear protection, he should be at home.

It’ll be important for Max to have a shut down inning.

First pitch 3 feet over the strike zone...   don't see this being good.

A field goal kicker would have been cut with 11 misses in 2 1/2 games.

sad to say, but you are on to something.  He is not swinging normally.  He is a better hitter than this.  HE does not swing and miss.  I hate to say it, but he's not contributing at lead off in the playoffs.

Yep, whatever the issue was last inning is still here.  Fastball's at 94, control is nowhere.

You can sit him down when you've got another good one, who is actually better on defense, who hit really well as a starter this year.
