Holtby has been dog crap tonight. I know the Pens have had some gimme goals, but man anytime we need a stop he gets beat.

Also we haven't played the Pens in a while but always nice to be reminded that their team is just full of freaking jerks. Divers, whiners, cheap-shot guys and of course enough talent to kill you.

JCA in     3  ....   2   .....   1     Eli goalie
wasn't watching the game but just saw a note on the yale website report on last night's OT win over Arizona state.  Winning goal was by a kid from Herndon, Joe Snively.  Lyons was one of the top guys in college for a couple of years - won the Ken Dryden Award for the best goalie in the East his sophomore year and was runner up for the Richter Award for top college goalie.  It'll be interesting to see if he can hook on in the NHL.

I should have suited up...I think even I could have stopped some of those goals Gruby let by...would have been worse if Beags hadn't made a spectacular sprawling save...

I was really upset by the pathetic attempt the Caps made to recognize Schmidty.  They waited until he was taking a face off and flashed his Caps career stats on the jumbotron, saying "Welcome back Nate Schmidt."  No highlights...no picture of him as Darth Vader...nothing...

If the linesman hadn't picked up on things, that would have been it, but he stopped play for a bit and the fans got to applaud for 5 or 10 seconds...didn't even give the guy a chance to acknowledge the crowd.

Real bush league treatment for a guy who was well liked in DC.  They should be ashamed...

Might be part of the "fan experience" but it seems the Caps and Wiz arena announcers think it's about them.

Do you know what Portal I can find the NBCWashington set up?     On the arena announcer thing, this guy was still being loud and chatty after the Caps' goal when the Blue Jackets scored.      Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste the Wiz guy chants "De-fense".
