Yes...I think 16-3-2 in the last 21, or 17-3-2 in the last 22...one of those.

Get payback in Raleigh tomorrow...

It seems next month's Caps at Panthers game, which falls during the Olympics when John Walton will be in Korea calling the US women's games, will be called on the radio by Charlie Slowes.

Sounds good to me - not only a first-rate baseball announcer, but back in the 80's/90's he did a pretty good job with Bullets radio play-by-play too.

When they have to review a goal, the Budweiser Red Light goes off both on the initial goal, and on the confirmation.

Caps should be up 2-1...

Charlie Slowes will call the Feb 22 game at the Panthers, while John Walton is in South Korea.

Caps tickets   ....   sis bought me tickets from a family friend/STH.    She paid the guy and I figured he could e-mail me the ticket.    Seems I gotta go to will call and present a credit card to pick 'em up  ....   even though they're paid for.    Do the Caps (unlike the Nats) have some sort of control/strangle hold on all ticket sales that won't allow for a simple e-mail from the STH to me?

He should be able to transfer the ticket electronically, but you would then have to put it on your mobile device or credit card—can't print them for some stupid reason.

Thanks.    I'll just do the credit card thing.   I don't have a smart or mobile device.   :old:

Watching on NHL Network; they have the Caps broadcast but not the between periods stuff.

The team and the fans sound like they wish they were still on the bye.

They didn't have much oomph last night til late.    I haven't seen much 2nd gear tonight either, though that was a nice power play.

Flyers come to town Sunday on NBC. I already have my excuse ready if the Flyers lose-- second of a back to back.
