Syndergaard doesn't like Harper very much.

Old news. freak 'em. Harp will blow a kiss as he's trotting home after hitting a monster dinger.

Bryce is less than 27.    He can still enlist.

Not me.  I want the Mets to be 100% healthy all year.  Will be so much more satisfying when we win the division.  The reality is that they won in 2015 because we weren't close to healthy all year and they would say we won last year because they weren't close to healthy.  Here's hoping both squads stay healthy.  Then it's time to put up or shut up.

Exactly. Harp taking Thor long a couple times would be so much better than beating the hell out of their scrubs.

I like that there are rivalries between players. Will make the games and battles between the two that much more interesting.

Agreed, I know it's petty but I'm tired of seeing players laughing and joking on the field with their opponents, I want stare downs and kisses blown and the occasional throw down! Makes it much more fun :)

That's encouraging.  He didn't look capable of hitting past the warning track for the last 2 months last year

Spring training ....who cares. Off a guy who projects as a mediocre reliever at best

He couldn't have hit a HR off his dad last Sept and Oct.  I think it lends credence to the rumours that he was hurt last year and is healthy now.

He had terrible mechanics all year, regardless of who was pitching. So, if he's showing good mechanics, that's a good sign, regardless of who's pitching. The result is secondary.

He looked really really good today.  Let him stay healthy and then let's see what we've got!

When you're nursing an injury, your mechanics get thrown off, because you're nursing/favoring the part of your body that's hurt.

He was clearly hurt last year. There is no other explanation for the drop off.

Indeed.  Much, much better than that weird twisting of everything thighs-shoulders that appeared a lot last year.
