Dee Gordon just lead off Marlins game with a homer. Cries whole way around the bases. Points to the sky after touching home plate.
Great stuff; I cannot watch it though as it will make me cry.

On MLB Network  ...

I'm sure there will be a replay at the break.

I had to switch the game on for a little bit. Marlins broadcast doing a great job

Off the beaten path but interesting....

St Louis Cardinals are 33-41 at home this year.  The only teams below them are the Twins, D'backs and Braves.  They are a MLB best 48-33 when traveling.  A team built for the road?

That was pretty cool. Watching that game on my tablet and the Nats on the phone.

Pittsburgh papers thought it was a good play.    I got this feelin' that if the sides were turned, we would be supportin' it.

Everytime Zimmerman looks feeble with a chance to put runs on the board, maybe.

On a team I played on during game 2 of a 3 game championship series. Our team lost our SS to a broken ankle at second while stealing on a fake tag.

Not sure I get the picture of that happening.   Can you give an old guy some details?

I see Roark in "Deadliest Catch" or one of the back woodsmen in the Alaska Trooper series.

Our SS was stealing 2nd and the other teams 2nd baseman deked tag late(ball got away from catcher) and the late slide ended in a base foot plant broken ankle.

I look at him like James Dean. You think he's a nice guy taking your sister out for a nice night, when in reality, he takes her to his car, drives around the corner, freaks the crap out of her, and dumps her back at home an hour later.

Every time he gets a hit people say he's back so what's the difference?
