That means Gio will pitch game 3 (our final game) in the playoffs.

Well if we're already down 0-2, what difference does it make?

Character flaw to hang in and strike the guy out, too.

It is a character flaw if your body fails you.

Nats team policy is to not comment on injuries until after the game, right? So all we have right now is FP's speculation.
Don't forget everyone here. I expect them to amputate tomorrow.

He pitched our last two elimination games, why freak with tradition?

More importantly it means Gio will definitely be back next season. Who gives a crap if he sucks and rarely gets to the 7th inning, he's a southpaw and durable. :hang:

He thought the ball was in the glove before the foot touched the bag.

Even when we don't shut down Stephen for the playoffs, he gets shut down for the playoffs.

Ramos tried to throw the ball to the fans behind the dugout and the ball didn't clear the netting. :lmao:

Everything is going to be fine. It'll come back as inflammation. He'll be pushed to the pen for the playoffs. Max and Tanner will get us through the playoffs

all i can say, is that I REALLY wonder about this organization.  they say they put him on the dl, mostly, for precautionary reasons.  they then say all is more than fine with his work, so much so that it's almost like a 'whatever' thought to just activate him, and have him start this game.  and, THEN, in just the third inning of the game, with little work, there's some injury...and, quite sadly, quite possibly, a very serious injury...

and, just like that...with knowing things can just happen.  but, it really doesn't seem so.  there has to be some evidence to warrant better decisions, perhaps, or, I just don't know.
