Nats now 0-6 in May. They have lost those 6 games by an average of 2.5 runs per game. Young needs to be benched permanently. Lopez has been awful lately and Schneider needs to sit against LH starters.

You want first basemen to be tall and left-handed. Belliard is 5' 8" and right-handed.
I think just about anyone can play 1B. I know you have to scoop and stretch for balls but for the most part, the requirements to play 1B aren't very difficult. I know Manny wont put Ronnie @ first though, so it's not even worth talking about.
