Just getting in some innings.

He's had s bunch of innings, he pitched a clean one why does he have to pitch multiple?

Just resting the rest of them.  7 run lead, after all.  And he'd be out of this already if not for Rendon's throw.

He hasn't pitched in almost a week. for people who think he's going to be dominant his fans don't have a whole lot of confidence in him. :smh:

No but it will be his debut so I'm not expecting a deep outing.

Agreed, they will want to take the winnings off the table if things break our way.  6 innings, unless he really is killing it in which case they might let him go 7.

Now he can build on this after a few days rest. 3 or 4 appearances before the all star break and maybe some of you whiners can shut the freak up about how "overworked" he is so there won't be any more excuses.

Mets announcers discussing Syndegaard's elbow. "He was flustered", says Ron Darling. Mentions the steals and hits.

Meanwhile, Matz has been found to have bone spurs in his throwing elbow.

So is Matz on/going on the DL?
