Did FP ground out into a lot of shifts or something?

He just doesn't like any new ideas.

At least it got him off the new slide rule.

get the freak out of here bob and fp with the bashing "analytics" and shifts. seriously, them talking down to viewers like shifts and stats are bad is excruciating. honestly having broadcasters so openly against a common strategy and accepted idea is more embarrassing than having papelbon choke our right fielder

Does anyone know why Kelley was taken out after one pitch?

I don't agree.  The team is playing like a team these first 2 games.  Everyone has contributed.

Rivero is not allowed to pitch this inning. If he's THE 7th inning guy, how, in the name of Matt W, can he pitch the 8th, as well?

Got the feeling Dusty just wanted to get him back out there after the other day.    He got the out and Dusty moved on.

WASHINGTON, 2030

Bob: "I don't understand why these teams use these shifts, these new "analytics" in baseball are really ruining the game.

FP: "Yeah, cowboy, these newfangled stats like on-baser percecption are making the game too math-based. When I was a player we played the right way."

Bob: "The Cardinals would never waste their time with this kind of stuff. Major jammage there."

FP is such a great color guy when he focuses on talking about what a situation is like from a player's perspective, instead of falling into his usual FPisms like bashing shifts, offering excuses for a bad National splay, praising the Chicago Cubs during a game they're not playing in, etc.

Felipe was at 94 most of that inning except a couple of 97s. Interesting.
