what do you think of Heisey in CF?

Not athletic or fast enough to make the play over his head if it happens. I'd have to go with MAT with this current playoff roster if I had to make the lineup but really prefer Revere's ability to not let balls drop. Yeah I hate his weak arm and constant weak grounders to second base, but in a low scoring, tight game, he's the one I wish would be out there. The nats need to give the job to Goodwin/MAT(one more last chance) and see if either can handle the job or trade for Charlie Blackmon.

My favorite outfield in the playoffs so far has been the indians. They are making diving catches and stealing hits all over the place. Pillar of the jays is also making sick plays nonstop.

beware of the 3 Bs for Boston - Betts, Bradley, and Benintendi!

I was very disappointed Goodwin did not make the roster.

And I got mocked at ES for wanting to trade Harper for Betts, Bogaerts, and Swihart

No more whining. That's for losers. Just win the game tomorrow.

Big blunder leaving Ross in for one hitter too long. Could argue he left Treinen in one hitter too long as well though honestly he got two outs really quick and then a HBP and a weak single, I would have preferred a lefty for Utley but I still had faith in Treinen in that spot.

Turner didn't pick up the ball and let it drop. That shouldn't fall on Ross. It's what I've been nagging about all year long. Trea Turner should not be playing CF because he just doesn't have the experience of playing the outfield.

You're like a broken record. An accurate broken record.

Nah man, everyone said playing CF is easy. He's a pro -- should be freaking awesome at it!

Given some time I think he would be very good. Going back to SS after not playing there for months would be hard also. Looks like we are stuck with Espi. At least he made contact the last couple at bats.

Just like the last game where some writer claimed that espy turned the corner? Espinosa is flat out a huge liability. I hope the game does not rest in his bat on thursday like game 1 or turner blowing a play in cf like todays game.

I read that Kendrick would have pinch hit for Utley if Solis came in so you would have had a tired Solis versus a righty. Pick your poison.

Most teams rather face someone from the bench rather than a starter unless it's espy.

The dodgers seem to platoon half their lineup so I'm not sure that applies to them

If Turner is stuck at CF, then I would still rather see Difo at SS. Drew is swinging just as bad as espy right now.

Dusty, if you are reading this, then for the love of all that is right with this world, please don't bat Harper #2 tomorrow.  There's no way that your best hitter should be in the #4 slot and not even get a chance to bat in the first inning.

Turner/Werth/Murphy/Rendon/Harper/Zimmerman/Espinosa/Loboton please

Serious Q: how much longer is Rusty even going to manage? Could he retire after this season?

Would do away with Espi and Loby (obviously), but the top 5 is the way to go!

He's got a two year contract. If they win a title this year or next, it's possible, I guess. I don't see it happening after this season, though.

3 good games, 1 terrible game for Dusty.

Too bad the terrible one came during yet another clinch opportunity for Dusty.

I know this thread is humor based, but the Nats are way better off with Dusty than without him. This has been an awesome season and he is a major part of it.

0-8 in must win games or in games to clinch right? I don't remember what it was.

Giants had won 11 straight elimination games before yesterday.
