I thought they said on tv when they went over the tape his arm slot was exactly the same during that town period?
And they just said on TV that it was an arm slot/wrist angle issue. :shrugs:

Anthony DiComo ‏@AnthonyDiComo  1m1 minute ago

That is seven consecutive strikeouts for Max Scherzer. He's through eight no-hit innings. Maybe the most dominant start I've ever seen.

Should be an impressive game score.

Game score over 100 hopefully.  Those are extremely rare.  More rare than perfect games.

I thought I remember FP saying it a few starts ago.

My goodness.  Scherzer's season has been the world's tallest rollercoaster.  A boring one though.  Straight up, then crashing down, then straight up again.  Done.

Imagine how dominant Scherzer would've been this year if McCatty wasn't the pitching coach.

Imagine how dominant Scherzer would've been this year if McCatty wasn't the pitching coach.

Find it hard to believe that McCatty was so good for so many years and then this year sucked. I think perhaps Matt didn't ask him for advice and as McCatty said, if no one asks him advice, he doesn't offer.
