That can't happen. Period. What a joke. Not his first baserunning disaster this year.

Team needs more sliding practice, as he was briefly safe.

I remember a local baseball camp where they would put soap suds on the grass and you could practice sliding. You would fly like 40 feet, it was awesome.

He's had a recurrent back issue this season.

9/9 Injury Report: Strasburg left his last appearance due to soreness in his upper back but is expected to start Wednesday against the Mets. (August 30, Back)

Howdy folks. I guess it was worse listening as "it" happened. I was on vacation. Saw the Braves series. Took daughter the boat for home. Eating lunch, and she says, "Great! Ramos just hit a grand-slam so the Nats lead 4 - 3 in the bottom of the 4th...no, 5 - 3". Read all about it the next day. Last night, brother-in-law, a Red Sox fan, comes home from dinner...says "The Nats had a huge lead so they were going to win, but we were watching the Sox. Don;t know the final".

When does Williams get fired?

Does Rizzo go at the same time?

Can someone order Williams to start Trea Turner for the rest of the year? Just for the experience, as the Nats did with several players in September 2010 and 2011?
