I'm drinking the kildalton that I was saving for last nights victory that never happened. I need liquor to get me through nats games. I probably should wait til the 6th inning so I'll be unconscious by the dreaded 7th.

You're right. I don't see BH extending here regardless of what he's said in the past. All of the playing for one franchise and the love for DC stuff is just to make fans happy. The frustration that he's had with the fans at games the past two days are what he's really feeling. The crowds are for the most part "soft" for a team that supposed to be great and attendance is brutal. Lerner would have to offer him a stupid scherzer like contract to stay in dc. But even then, if the team isn't winning he might look at his favorite team because they can pay him and offer him a chance to win. The yankees have a lot more in terms of future young stars than the nats imho. Giolito and the other young arms are nothing to sneeze at, but the nats have not too many young position players that get me excited.
