Baseball tonight razzing Rizzo about his statement that Williams was masterful in his handling of the bullpen.  Good...someone needs to call bull crap on this mess...

You mean other than WNFF.

But they read us and get their lead here.      The Post writers read our stuff as well.

He also knows there's a better than even chance they'll win regardless of who he trots out there.
He could forfeit the game and the Nats would still find a way to blow it.

With FP off on this road trip, he should have plenty of material tomorrow.

He's sipping his hot tea, takin' his meds and reading the forum.    Kind of like us  ...   without the tea.

I like the Hitler mustache on Matt Williams in your avatar, it's very fitting. They're both leaders who've proved they can't finish races.

Cards are 40 games above .500 and have no greater lead in their Division than the Mets have in ours.   :hysterical:

2 things.  pretty sure he said he "pressed the right buttons" and was "masterful at putting people in the position to succeed" up until the 7th inning and if he didnt, what would you expect Rizzo to say on Sept 2?  Id rather have a GM backing his manager rather than creating a distraction by trashing him with a month to go

Sure...but the hyperbole was a bit much...

I believe the three central teams will all finish with better records than the East and West divisions.  And then one will be eliminated in the WC and then the other in the NLDS.  Now that's tough.
