Except the ball was in his mitt.

I'm not sure if that's better or worse  :?

Gio looks like Al Pacino from Carlito's Way. Aged a great deal this game.

The reason it's over FP, is that can go to the good part of their bullpen long before the score even gets close.  They don't have to keep Peavy in the game for five or six innings.

The freaking walks killed him.

Yeah he can nag all he wants but he walked the 8th and 9th hitters and made his own bed and then crap in it.

F.P., get out with that "so much baseball to play" bullcrap. You know how this ends, I know how this ends, Ray Charles knows how it ends.

Dollars to doughnuts it's a quick 1-2-3 coming up.

Oh who cares FP they all steal signs, if the Nats are too stupid to change them that's on them

Definitely wondered if they were stealing signs during this inning, but Gio looked so off either way.

Nah it's gonna be a 6-5 game.  They will tease us and fall short again.

He yielded a triple with no one on second. He walked the 8th and 9th batters with no one on second. He's just being a wussy and looking for a scapegoat for getting his ass handed to him.

Right now we would have to win 70% of our remaining games and the mets go 500 for us to have a chance - it is not going to happen with this rudderless ship.

There is simply no embarrassing this bunch.  No matter how much crap the opponent pushes their face in, they never fight back.

So...I wonder if McCatty was venting built-up frustration when he got tossed. I've never seen him so pissed before. That might be a true sign of how bad things really are with this team.

Right now, the Nats need to win one game. Just one. When? I can't predict.

There's a half dozen ways to steal signs other than second base relay.

This team is a bunch of bigger babies than Dee Gordon.

It doesn't seem like they care either.

These losses are just inexcusable. They are starting to pile up. Losses that should have been wins. Two against Colorado and at least 2 more in this series. Just unacceptable. These aren't just normal throw away and forget losses.

Speaking of donuts, skippy mentioned sprinkled donuts the other night and I saw that Captain Crunch has a sprinkled donut version.  :spaz:

It really would have been nice if they could have score one run that inning. Show a little fight, at least.
