Anyone else go to SPH appreciation day today? I'll be glad to share the names of the players who were dicks to the fans.  Most of them were pretty cool and interacted with the fans. Even though they weren't supposed to do autographs, many of them did.

It'd be interesting to learn which ones you thought were jerks so share it.

Decided to skip it. Let me guess: Werth and Escobar were dickheads?

Did Storen make an appearance? I'd bet on Paps & Werth

Treinen, Papelbon, Zimmermann, and Lobaton were among the first players to come out and they basically just did a lap around the field and barely acknowledged the fans. Zimmerman came out later and pretty much did the same. Gio, Rendon, Scherzer, Ross, Thornton, Roark, Ramos, Taylor, Reed Johnson, plus all the coaches and broadcasters took their time, shook hands, signed autographs, etc.  Even Harper and Werth interacted with fans to a limited degree (they were among the last out and time got limited at the end).  Didn't see Desmond or Escobar.

Can't imagine Paps would be a dick at his first public Nats apperance

Surprised by Lobaton. He kind of seems like he would be one of the nicer guys. Espinosa kind of seems like he might be a dick, was expecting you to put him in that list.

Lobaton surprised me too. Forgot about Espy...they didn't announce him when he came out, but he just did the obligatory lap and didn't interact.

He's pretty good at Spring Training, but the best is Bryce...

EDITED

2013 it was Desmond, Rendon and Bryce...came out together and ran in their own pack 30 feet from the nearest fans...

I no longer expect something good to happen when Bryce is at bat.

As a matter of fact, I'm stunned when something good happens when Bryce is at bat.

Desmond and Bryce have spent a lot of extra time with fans after batting practice, etc. Maybe they just think this is a hokey event.

Now that Span is out for the rest of the year (my interpretation of his "set back"), I can just sit back and enjoy the games, knowing the Nats have very little chance.

Hey, Stras is at four strikeouts already.

Stras is on-point right now. Fastball is moving (and at 96/97) and curve is tight. Great
