Line is around the corner now. Only two lines being used here.
work or gnome, work or gnome, work or gnome . . . so tough to decide.  why not neither and just post?

It's already calmed down at left field. Lots of gnomes left. Not nearly as crazy as last year.

The bobbleheads have lasted longer this year it seems. I don't know when the gnome actually ran out though.

They're distributing more of them. I think 15,000 was standard in previous years but they did 25,000 gnomes tonight.

That is correct. But they've also had more each year. The first few year it was just four. This year it's 5 plus the chia and gnome.

I got an email from the Nats about the Werth bobble for tomorrow. Apparently it didn't make the grade and they will be giving out vouchers instead. See below.

Jayson Werth's walk-off home run in Game 4 of the 2012 NLDS was one of the greatest moments in Washington Nationals history. While we tried to capture his jump into home plate and commemorate it with a bobblehead for our 10th Anniversary season, we were not satisfied with the final product. Therefore, we will be re-issuing a new bobblehead. The first 25,000 fans to enter Nationals Park on Sunday, August 30th for the 1:35 p.m. game against the Miami Marlins will receive a voucher redeemable for the new bobblehead. Fans will be able to pick up their new bobblehead on an offseason date at Nationals Park. In addition, you will receive a special gift for the inconvenience. More information will be available on the vouchers and at www.nationals.com/Aug30.

I love they're concerned about the quality of a bobble head for a player that's way past his prime for a series we lost in pathetic fashion.

I'm wondering whether the vouchers will be distributed at all gates the way the bobbleheads were to have been given out or whether they'll give them to the first 25,000 people at center field. We prefer to use the home plate gate due to where we park, which also means we don't normally get there 2.5 hours before game time (I've made a few exceptions, most recently Tuesday for the gnome because of last year's chaos).

I bet they will distribute the vouchers at all gates like the actual bobbles. I don't think you'll have to get there too early this time just because the lines for bobbles have not that been long or early this year. I'm planning to get to the home plate gate an hour or so early, maybe even a bit later.

The Nats skipped 2009 in their ten year bobblehead giveaway. I know they spent a lot of money on Sherzer, but Zimmerman should have been 2009 (with script Washington jersey) with Livan in 2005.

2005   Zimmerman
2006   Soriano
2007   Cordero
2008   Guzman
2009
2010   Strasburg
2011   Werth
2012   Gio
2013   Rendon
2014   Harper
2015   Scherzer

Meanwhile Church sits at home cursing Robinson and Bowden for holding him back from qualifying to be a doll.

Little surprised they didn't do a Frank doll in the big set and do RZ for 2009, as you say.  No Livo doll?  C'mon, man!  Harper's 2014 wasn't that great shakes, either.  Mikey Mo 2011, Werth 2014, Harper ROY 2012, Gio.

Got my 2005 line up card last night, from the first game in Philly instead of the first home game. This team is celebrating the ten year anniversary but they don't seem to have any memories from that year. Almost nobody watched the first game which was on a weekday afternoon, everyone remembers that first game at RFK. And most importantly the Nats won the first home game, why would I want a souvenir from a loss?
