Good catchers don't grow on trees but freak I wish we had someone, anyone better than this. freak the power, I just want a guy who works well with the pitchers (good D) and who isn't lost at the plate.

They guy batting behind our best hitter has a wRC+ of 88 and falling, significantly below league average.

When Rendon or Zimmerman gets back, whoever comes first, Espinosa should be batting 5th.

Somebody like Lobaton? I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I think his home run total is at least close to Ramos', with much less playing time.

Ramos should be fined every time he pulls a ball. Its and automatic 6-4-3.  Gotta get him out of the 5 hole. He is Ryan Zimmerman Lite.

Ramos has no power anymore.  He's only SLG above .400 in one season.

You lose games when you can't execute.

He sucks balls. 4.29 ERA in AAA this season. Only 49 Ks in 65 AAA IP.

He's 22.  He was in AAA as a 22 year old after having an ERA under 3 over parts of 2 AA seasons at ages 20 and 21.  Went into the season ranked #34 overall prospect by Baseball America.  The only blot there is that he had trouble in AAA.  But again, he's 22.  He's had 3 MLB starts now.  We rocked him once, didn't hit him tonight (but he had spotty control), and in the other he went 8 and gave up one ER to the Mets, which should probably be counted with his AAA stats.

The good news is that Mr. Fister's 86 is gonna make Max's 97 look like 105!

Lobaton .320 WOBA, Ramos .300 WOBA. Lobaton has a walk rate 3X (12.3%) Ramos' (4.1%).

He has the power but doesn't know how to harness it. He swings at more bad pitches than anyone I have ever seen (worse walk rate than Desmond). If he ever learns to lay off the junk he will get better pitches to hit and actually hit the ball with authority. But he refuses to make adjustments and improve.
