Couldn't watch the game due to lack of TV reception during the storms. I guess I have to refrain from watching the finals.

Please post a youtube of the Virginia fight song. It is your right as national champs. For example, if there were a sailing thread, I'd post March Down the Field 3 times because Yale won all 3 titles this year.

Yawning my head off this morning and well worth it. I was afraid to wear orange and blue yesterday since last time I did that on game day they lost. So I'm wearing it today instead.

Good sports year. National championships in baseball and soccer, and the other university I attended won the NCAA basketball tournament.

I have to say that I was pretty skeptical at first of Craig Littlepage, but he's really done a great job with the Virginia athletic department. The football lags, but a lot of top programs across lots of sports.

I'd rather have an overall good athletic department that competes for championships regularly in multiple sports than one that focuses solely on football and stinks otherwise.

Sure is impressive how they turned around the baseball program. About 13 or 14 years ago they were considering dropping it!

Has he though?

He got lucky on Bennett... and he did hire O'Connor... but what else has he done? The football program is a disaster and all the other olympic sports were already national contenders before he took over.

Agreed. Guys like Bennett and O'Connor are just unbelievable catches.
