As soon as other teams learn to stop pitching to Harper we will really go down the crapter. The rest of the lineup is total crap past Span/Escobar. Rotation is a huge weakness too. Fister injured, Gio sucks, Strasburg sucks, and Jordan is hit or miss.

true and it looks like the Mets may lose tonight. though that means we would have had a chance to move into 1st tonight.

Ramos is on an 18-game hitting streak.  Espi is fine.  The inconsistencies in the rotation will stabilize.  Relax.

FP talking about the ball flying out tonight.

Someday, FP is going to realize that HUMID AIR IS THINNER THAN DRY AIR, AND THUS IS A FACTOR IN BALLS CARRYING FURTHER.

Get it FP?

Can't rely on Gio and Strasburg. Both major headcases who refuse to mature.

You're ignoring the fact that Strasburg and Gio need tampons permanently shoved into them.

He hasn't been good. Fine doesn't cut it for a #2 looking to command $100M+.

Harper can't do everything, FP. These other worthless hacks have to pick up the pace.

Strasburg's last start showed improvement.  If we are to believe that he has an ankle injury, then he should get better.  Gio does this all the time; he spent most of last year having an ERA above 4.50 and finished en fuego.

Leadoff walk. How will we screw this up?

The bar I am at just played that "I've got friends in low places" song that was briefly the 7th inning stretch song at Nats Park.

He's got an FIP barely above 3.  His last two starts have been back to what we expect from him.  The issue is he isn't striking as many guys out, but he seems to have turned the corner.
