Ben Olsen has probably done more with less than any other manager in MLS history.

Yes

D'Arnaud long homer to give the Mets an early 1-0 lead.

The Rockies will lie down and take it from the Mets in this series.

The Rockies are so much worse vs LHP so expect Niese to dominate. A shame we couldn't have ran Gio out vs them.

Their only real competition for late-season chokes are the Sawks and the Barves.  But it's been quite a while since a choke was even anatomically possible for them.

Is CarGo a FA? I'd push for him. Then trade Michael Taylor, move Harper to CF. freak it, I want a ring, and we need another big bat.

Nope. 2018. Gotta think he'd have been moved if he were. Also, Boras client.

The proof is in the pudding. The Nats couldn't do a thing vs their pen when given the opportunity to win the game yesterday on a silver platter.

The Mets just scratched across 3 late runs to seize the game.

we can't beat the Rockies with Max Scherzer. The Mets beat them with their #5 starter despite facing the Rockies' most talented starter.

Mets have been clutch lately and Nats have not--looking more and more like no postseason in DC

The Mets are better than the Nationals.  They're not good but good enough to beat the Nationals and win the NL East.

I don't recall a season more disappointing than this one in my life as a fan.

I can't imagine going into next season with the same manager and general manager who have made such a mess of this situation.

I'd say 2013 currently leads that race (unless we are going to go back to 1994)
