OK. On topic, I kind of liked the Uribe / Johnson move for the Mets. Low profile, but I think it gives them a much better fielder at 3d (Uribe) than trotting out Murphy or whoever was horrible last week. Uribe also has a little power, and Johnson can be slotted in, too.
I still don't think any team is adding the bats like we will by the end of the week - Escobar avoiding the DL, Rendon back, Werht crushing it for Syracuse, and RZ getting back soon. Span will play when the back calms down and can probably walk in and hit. Bullpen depth would help, too. I don't know what can be done at catcher. He comes up with Taylor's throw today and it is a different game.
