Interesting move by Matheny, IBBs Murphy, pushing the winning run into scoring position, to force Collins to put in Jacob deGrom to pinch hit.  What a strange game.

I can't believe Matheny intentionally walked Murphy to put the winning run on second base.

You gotta throw strikes to a pitcher, I mean come on.

Isn't he a starter?  When was he scheduled to pitch next?

The Mets offense makes ours look like the 27 Yankees. Holy christ.  :hysterical:

They used Lackey yesterday and Lynn on Friday, not sure why they had this Cooney guy start today. I think the perpetually-injured southpaw Garcia is coming off the DL soon, so I assume they're flexible.

The ISS has orbited the Earth nearly 4 times in the time it has taken to play this game.

Can't believe Martinez walked a pitcher and just struck out Duda. At least the Nats have Harper and Escobar. The Mets have...Murphy?

Honestly sometimes it's whoever is pitching that particular game.

You know, the Mets will come in full of energy and enthused and the Nationals will look like they're the ones who played in a game that was two complete games long.

Peralta out stealing to end the inning?

Mets radio announcers say, "Neither team seems to remember how to play".
