They had just committed an error and making Colon field his position is always a good idea and fielding bunts has become a nightmare for teams these days.  Plus he'd have to do it in the shadows.

The Marlins-Braves game is in a rain delay...in Miami.  They didn't have the roof closed and it started to rain.
