Anyone ever experience this?  It feels like going on the playground merry go round.

Wife had it for a while.  It was uncomfortable to watch.

Yep. Mine went away on its own eventually. But it was a tough couple of weeks.

You should get it checked out if you haven't already.

only one time when I was at a high elevation and unknowingly had become dehydrated.  I was about 45 minutes from the nearest medical facility as well, which really sucked.  However after getting a pint of IV fluid I felt good as new.

I had benign something or other vertigo. Had to have physical therapy for it.

Yes, it sucks.  Can't focus on anything because my eyes keep "scanning" to one direction then jumping back to the start, like this:

Only time I've had it was when I was up in the middle of nowhere, Michigan.  Zero light pollution around, zero clouds, no moon.  Lakeside, with the uncountable stars reflecting off the perfectly still surface of the water, it was like being surrounded by a sphere of stars. My brain kept feeling like I was falling upward, off the face of the planet.  Horrible sensation that killed an unbelievably beautiful sight.

Man I used to pay money to get that feeling.

Heheheh.  It was honestly terrifying to me - that sense of movement without moving.  But you're right now that I think about it. Not that different from the sense of nitrous oxide at the dentist but without the brain fog to make it not scary as hell.
