So, who are gonna be the Caps healthy scratches tomorrow?

Not like the Caps have any forwards that are banged up either, so a lot of possibilities.  Chimera didn't take his last benching very well.

I'm guessing Burakovsky, and Schmidt on D if Orpik plays.  Is Erskine even still with the club?

No changes yet.

Trotz was leaning towards two 10 minute mini-periods in the first if the glare is an issue.  He would discuss with Joel...thought it was fair...unless, of course, Joel wanted the glare in his end of the ice for the entire period.

OK, thanks. Will proceed under the assumption that we are on with 1:00.

It was still allegedly in the mid 30s when i went for a late afternoon bike ride, but my water bottle froze...hope temps skew a little lower tomorrow as well. Having DCA as the official weather station for the city does tend to do that.

Watching the replay from the Jan 1 game in 2011.   Chimera missed a wraparound.  That was really bad.  They should bench him tomorrow for that.
