Seven years, $100 million for Kyle Seager. Baseline for a Rendon deal, perhaps?
Given that Bogaerts is around average defensively in SS position (according to fangraphs UZR,) I think he can be a solid 2B. But he was constantly showing his frustration about the Red Sox playing him as 3B not SS, and I don't think he would wanna play 2B.
Not Rizzo's style, he'll wait long enough to get serious that fans will agree it's just too much or too many years and the team is smart to let him walk (its working perfectly with Desmond and Zimmermann)
Most of us want to keep Zimmermann. Rendon is a better player than Desmond. Even his career year isn't as good as Rendon. Lock him up now before we have to pay him like an MVP/Batting champ.
I think most people have given up on a Zimmermann extension
Tomas to the D-Backs. JCA edit - added link.http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/dbacks-land-yasmany-tomas/
I thought that was consensus after he chose to go undrafted instead of signing with us. Also sticking us with Drew Storen. The long con.
Marlins pick up aar0n cr0w the trait0r in exchange for some other dudes.
Very well. The kids run along. How are the Huskers doing this year?
Don't have to like him, but he's not a traitor. He just chose to not sign with us. Plus it's not like he's been amazing since he came up. Drew's been better than him, outside of 2013. Nats came out the better in the end. Leave him be.
Oakland reportedly working on multiple trades. Insert Slate begging for a Donaldson trade to Washington here.
The Blue Jays just now sent SS Franklin Barreto, 3B Brett Lawrie and RHP Kendall Graveman to the A's in exchange of3B Josh Donaldson. Wow
Any of those guys highly touted?
A's left fielder Josh Reddick told the Chronicle it is apparent the team is in a rebuilding phase."This doesn't make sense to me. We just traded our best player the last two years," he told the newspaper.
